Scott Steindorff and Dylan Russell’s Stone Village Television has acquired rights to Just Watch Mea new thriller novel by Dexter author Jeff Lindsay, to develop as a premium television series. David Boies (Won’t You Be My Neighbor, Jane Got a Gun) is attached to produce.

Just Watch Me is the first in a new series that introduces Riley Wolfe, a master thief who targets the greedy 1 percent. Brilliant at disguise and compelled to perform impossible heists, Riley is a new anti-hero for our times.

The plot combines a cat-and-mouse game between Riley and FBI agent Frank Delgado with messages of Robin Hood. With elements of inspiration from classic caper movies like To Catch a Thief and the uneasy empathy we have for the anti-hero of Dexter. Unlike Dexter Morgan, a serial killer who preyed only on other serial killers, Wolfe takes no pleasure in murder but will not hesitate to eliminate anyone who gets in his way. He targets the powerful people of the world that abuse their wealth and status for self gain and to take advantage of others.

Lindsay created the character of Dexter and wrote the books on which the eight seasons of the hit Showtime series were based.

Steindorff and Russell are currently producing Station Eleven for HBO Max and Paramount Television.

Agent Nicholas Ellison brokered the deal with Steindorff and Russell on behalf of Lindsay.

Plunge daringly into the world of wildfires -- check out the trailer for the upcoming documentary series FIRE CHASERS, launching globally on Netflix September 8. From the vast visual ferocity, to the earnest and emotional personal stories hidden behind the smoke, Fire Chasers takes viewers into the heart of California's devastating recent wildfires alongside the brave men and women of Cal Fire and the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Their mission is to battle the flames that erupt during fire season, threatening wildlife, natural terrain, and tens of thousands of homeowners. Climate change, altered vegetation patterns, and an increase in fire-prone landscapes have multiplied those crises -- forcing firefighters across the state to confront epic disasters that cost lives, millions of dollars in damage, and a massive scarring of the Earth.

Alongside the stories of the Cal Fire and LA County Fire teams are those of new recruits training to join their brothers in the blaze; the women who've chosen to train at "Fire Camp" while serving time at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in Corona; and California artists Jeff Frost and Andrea Dale, who document the apocalyptic-looking damage in photos and ARTIFACT retrieval. Fire Chasers is a gripping, dramatic look at the vigilance and valor that come with trying to stop nature's most unstoppable force.

Fire Chasers is a Netflix original documentary series produced by Appian Way, Stone Village Television, and Original Productions. Screeners are available upon request.
